The key for success!


To start talking about marketing and ethics we should be aware of what marketing truly is.

Marketing persuade buyers thru social accepted values like: honesty, commitment, responsability, informative transparency, truthfulness attention and concern towards the client; with the objective of creating added value and satisfy the customer.

Let's not misunderstand marketing as a manipulation that impose the purchase through lies, false promises, half-truths, miracle products or by hiding negative aspects with the only objective of selling.


As marketers, we should always be aware of the adverticement content, and be extremely careful about the content and information of the messages before sharing them. For example:

- The writing of texts: express the information in an appropiate way.

- The use of images: be careful of the images as part or fund of products or services, to not threaten human dignity or confuse customers at first sight.

- Content that approaches subliminal advertising.


In my opinion, business orientation when launching products or services should represent the reliability of the same company, as the whole brand image can be affected by a wrong advertising campaign based on techniques like unbeat the competition, manipulate customers or deceptive advertising.

We must always have in mind that marketing seeks that people benefit from the commercialization of products by providing adequate information about the product/service they need or may need so that potential customers can choose responsibly.
